About Our League
The Korea International School Hockey League (KISHL) is a student-driven league that unites international schools across Korea through a shared passion for hockey. The league was founded in response to the lack of varsity ice hockey programs and competitive opportunities for international school players who wish to continue playing the sport they love.
Without a formal school-based league, many talented players have been forced to quit hockey altogether, turning instead to sports officially supported by their schools. Those who continue to play often face frustration and disappointment at not being able to represent their school or compete in an organized league. KISHL was created to change that — to give international school athletes a chance to compete, connect, and take pride in their game once again.
Our league also offers a KISHL SELECTS team, that is a joint team between students who want to participate in the league from International Schools who don't have enough players to form a full squad.
We have students from over 5+ International Schools participating in our league!
